A movie about work, wimen and blackness

My favorite movie at all time is The Help. Its director was Tate Taylor and its realizing was in 2011. I like this movie because this was the first movie that made me cry, and cry a lot, like a child.  The story is about a group of black wimen that are paid handmaids in the sixties-fifties in the United States.  Is a very transcendental movie because there are so much dialogue between these characters about themselves, this is very difficult to see, the talk between wimen about themselves in the movies, generally make them speak about love of men.

In them experiences like black wimen and servants, their stories are crossed by so much important elements like the historic situation of slavery, the very stressful demand in their jobs and the bad paid that they receive, the very urgent situation of the racism and the help that this situation found in the law and the media, the situation of being mothers and housewives at the same time they grow other whit children. Is and very interesting movie that I very recommended to see really, it’s really worth a lot.

My best holidays

My best holidays was two years ago in my summer vacations. In that time I went to Peru for two weeks. I went with my boyfriend in that time, we started going to Tacna, we stayed there for two days, then we taking a bus to Arequipa, that city was so beautiful, colonial and white in its constructions, then we went to Cusco, in there we visit so much archeological places and museums, also we went to Macchu Picchu when we were in Cusco, the way to Macchu Picchu was so exhausting and difficult but we did it, when it finished, we was very tired really.

This was my best travel because I want so much to go there and we got it, Peru has so much beautiful places, and its food is very delicious, also is a very cheap too. The only thing that was difficult for us was the bolivian winter that was happened there when we went.

I'm sorry my dear but I only speak in the language of $love$

I only had have two classes of English in my entire experience at the university, English level three and English level  four now. My experience at these classes had been very relaxing in general. English three that I take this class in my first year in the university, I had this class on Fridays in the afternoon this was so boring and tired, my teacher of this class was an English psychologist, he as a person was so funny but in the class I learnt almost nothing about the contents because the topics that we took in class was very basic and simple. Everything was about making lists about different things and that’s it.

This class this semester had been so more different because in the second hour we could speak about important things and topics, in a social sciences ‘s way, and in this  way practice the English idiom talking about topics that usually we talk like social scientist.

I think that the English blogs are necessary to practice our grammatical English, that thing is very necessary because in our careers we write so much and have the access of writing in English can open so many doors about increasing our professional’s way.

I need so much to practice my speaking English, because I think that I have a decent level of writing English but in the oral way due I have very little spaces to talk in English, is difficult to me speak in English in a fluidity way. I think that I need to go to more spaces in which I can practice my speaking English but I don´t know where really.

My posible summer holidays

I guess that I am going to Lima, Peru in my vacations. I would go with my family (mother, father and two sisters) and I am so excited about this idea to going to there because so much time ago I haven´t a vacation travel with my family. In there I would like to visit every patrimonial and archeological place that I reach to go. Peru is a beautiful country with so much archeological cities and monumental places is a place with so much history conserved in there so I am very happy to go there and better with my family. Also, in January happens the phenomenon of the “bolivian winter” there and this is great to escape of the warm in these dates here in Chile.

I would like to travel also with friends but I don’t know if I could do this because of the money. I like the idea of “mochilear” and travel with friends spending our money together and the adventure of searching luck with people who move you between cities, economic places in which have lunch, economic places in which stay the night, nut I don´t have yet the basic money to simply go so, this is complicated now.

I think that I spend my time in Peru visiting a lot of museums, historic places, taking tours to so much places, eat a lot of food of there, sleep, walking a lot, go to the markets there, etc.

Long life to perreo, die to work

I would like to take studies about gender, sexuality and diversity topics. I would like to take postgraduate courses in these areas because there are the spaces in which I would like to work outside of the university.  Also have more study levels give me more credibility, knowledge and support me in my curriculum to postulate to any organization in the private or public area.

I would like to take courses in relation to sexual diversity, human rights, gender identities, corporality, public politics, social inequality, burocracy, laws, maybe some courses of methodology approaches: go deep in anthropological areas like etnography, cualitative methods, some courses of cuantitative organization of the information, etc.

I would love to study in other countries in which these areas are more work out if the resources or student grants are, to make contacts, and give resources. Also to know other places, other peoples and those local realities and to change the airs too, change perspectives in some many things in life, to meet new people, to exchange information, between other so many things and opportunities that offer these changes.

Maybe I would like to have part time courses to dedicate so much time of my life to that but also there are the possibility of get into a blended system because it allows me to work outside at the same time to keep my own economic business and  for also work in what I like too.

You're beautiful, you're a model, you look like...

I would like to work in a future in something related to LGBTQI+ rights and contribute to make the world a better and accessible place for sexual diversity people. I imagine me in working like an activist, in a public organization like a municipality office or some state office, this would be my first option although I don´t deny work in a private organization with more resources to work in better contributions.

In first place related to my options I would say that I prefer to work in indoor places, but also for me and my future career of anthropologist, could be an option work in outdoor situations searching for information (field work) to make investigations in this area, if the resources and possibilities would be.

I would love to travel a lot and know so much places, important people and organizations. I love to travel and know different places like a hobby  in life. Could be a great to know people that work in the same area in other places to make contacts and expand the possibilities of work and the contributions that can be done.

I would like to have a salary that allows me to live calm and focus in my work, in this country with all the bills and debts that we have to pay is difficult not to scream but in the way we will know what to do I guess.

Maybe If I will have the resources, contacts and all the necessary stuff I would to access to a major education level in the areas of sexuality and gender specially.

How I get to Anthropology.

Hi, I´m studying Social Anthropology.  I chose to study that because call my attention the investigation about different topics about phenomenon happen in society and the focus about try to describe and analyze them by the concept of culture. When I was in high school I have a friend that enters to the career so by him I knew about the existence of this profession.  However, my first option to apply to University was not that. My first postulation was to psychology career, though my score in the university selective test didn´t allow me to enter to that. My second and only option to anthropology was in the second place. My other options were to other psychology careers in other universities in the country. I decided to apply to psychology by the pressure of my context when I was in highschool that tell me that I will never have a good economic and social situation if I would study anthropology.  In part I understand that because is a very unknown career for the most of the people. Almost nobody knows what do an anthropologist to be honest.

My experience at the moment was so cool by so tired ant the same time. The university system dries your energies and your time so much and that most of time make that you fall down sometimes about to study. But, have been a good instance to know about different types of events happen in the society, events that so many times make that so many people suffer about that and the job of the anthropologist is to make visible that and give voice to the people through the knowledge.
